Overview

We’re looking for a Software Engineer who has:

Responsibilities

We will be looking for you to:

  • Work with UX designers to create web-based applications for clinicians and patients

  • Assess technologies and tools for use in our projects.

  • Assist other developers with your knowledge of web technologies.

  • Help other developers with your deep knowledge of the Android operating system.

  • Help us ensure that everything we build meets high standards of security, design, and performance.

  • Work with non-technical personnel and stakeholders to convey technical needs and estimates.

Required Skills and Experience

Candidates must have at least the following skills and experience:

  • 3+ years of experience building web applications.

  • Working knowledge of computer science fundamentals as applied to web application development, including security, networking, data structures & algorithms, object-oriented design, and software engineering practice.

  • Working knowledge of game development sufficient to collaborate with and support our content team.

  • Familiarity and experience with agile development methodologies.

  • Comfort and familiarity with productivity tools such as JIRA, Slack, Trello, and the Microsoft Office suite.

You Might Also Have

  • Working knowledge of the NodeJS framework.

  • Experience working with reactive frameworks such as react.js or svelte.

  • Experience with secure development practices for the web.

  • Experience with JavaScript visualization frameworks such as d3.

  • Familiarity with QA practices for web applications, including automated UI testing.

  • Familiarity with the Unity Game Development Engine.

Required Skills and Experience

Candidates must have at least the following skills and experience:

  • 8+ years of experience as a professional software engineer focused on Java development for Android.

  • Deep knowledge of computer science fundamentals as applied to mobile development, including security, networking, data structures & algorithms, object-oriented design, and software engineering practice.

  • Working knowledge of game development sufficient to collaborate with and support our content team.

  • Familiarity and experience with agile development methodologies.

  • Comfort and familiarity with productivity tools such as JIRA, Slack, Trello, and the Microsoft Office suite.

You Might Also Have

  • Working knowledge of C# and the .NET platform.

  • Working knowledge of Bluetooth and Bluetooth low energy connected devices and sensors.

Project Manager

Overview

We’re looking for a Project Manager to:

  • Assist engineering leadership in the scoping, planning, and execution of software projects. 

  • Facilitate and participate in a scrum-inspired agile engineering process, with responsibility for sprint planning, retrospectives, and team standups. 

  • Support the engineering team in creating specifications and defining work activities by participating in regular backlog refinement sessions.

  • Work with existing stakeholders to refine and improve our engineering process.  

  • Participate in operational activities related to the deployment and management of our product.

  • Test and evaluate team outputs to provide feedback and ensure a high degree of quality.  

  • Stay up to date with ongoing developments in project management and agile software engineering. 

  • Provide project management expertise and support to other projects and initiatives across the company. 

Required Skills and Experience:

Candidates must have at least the following skills and experience:

  • BA/BS with a preference for a technical degree.  

  • 4+ years of experience as a scrum master or project manager. 

  • Familiarity and experience with agile software development methodologies.

  • Comfort working both independently and within a tightly knit team.

  • Comfort and familiarity with productivity tools such as JIRA, Slack, Trello, and the Microsoft Office suite of tools. 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. 

 

You Might Also Have

  • Scrum Master certification.

  • Experience using and working with virtual reality applications and devices.

  • Understanding of Agile principles and ways of working.
